An Indonesian café citizen took the form of a superhero 'Spider-Man' to encourage people in his neighborhood to clean up trash.
An Indonesian citizen, Rudy Hortono, was wreaking havoc on the roads and the sea and wanted others to follow him, but no one paid any attention to them.
Hurtuno, 36, says that when I first started to clean the garbage without wearing a 'costume', I saw no one was attracted to me and I wanted the rest of the residents to join me in the work. He used to say, but they did not come with me. Then I started spitting out the shape of Spiderman and when I wore a costume, I saw the reaction from the citizens.
The resident of Indonesia's 'Pari Pari' says that I used to pick up trash from the streets and beaches around me, but I wanted the rest of the residents to join me in the work, so I got people's attention. Wearing the clothes of the movie hero 'Spiderman', he started cleaning up the trash
Horton collects garbage daily and then goes to the cafe at 7pm where he works. Their efforts have also highlighted the problem of plastic pollution at the national level.
Various newspapers also interviewed Hortono, while in different TV shows Hortono dressed in costume for the movie hero 'Spiderman' to explain his cause.
He said he initially purchased the costume to appease his nephew, but later used the costume for that purpose.
Remember that the problem of garbage and its spreading pollution is serious in different cities of Indonesia. The biggest problem is that there is no suitable place to throw the trash, which is mostly dumped into the seas and rivers.
Indonesia is the fourth largest population in the world, according to a study in 2015, Indonesia produces approximately 32 million tonnes of waste annually, half of which is dumped in most oceans and rivers.
According to the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forests, the city of Pari Pari, a population of about 1, 42,000, produces 2.7 tonnes of garbage on a daily basis.
Indonesia is the largest plastics pollution in the world after China, the report added.
