The good news for the fans of Pakistan Super League team Peshawar Zalmai is that South African betting legend Hashim Amla has signed with Zalmi as a batting mentor for the PSL Five.

Zalmi's chairman, Javed Afridi, announced the appointment of Hashim Amla and said that his presence in the dugout would benefit the new talent and provide the players with a chance to learn about batting.

Javed Afridi said that Hashim Amla legend is a big name for batsman and world cricket, he welcomes the Zalmi family.

Hashim Amla represented South Africa in 124 Tests, 181 ODIs and 44 Twenty20 matches.

Hashim Amla was also registered as a platinum player in the Pakistan Super League players' draft, but was not selected by any team in the draft.
